Visit Maldives showcases destination at Manta Forum 2025
Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) participated in the Manta Forum 2025, a leading tourism exhibition organised by Resort Holidays, held on 14 September 2025 at the Moscow Marriott Imperial Plaza.
The event brought together international hotels, destinations, tour operators, and travel agents to explore opportunities and strengthen partnerships within the global tourism sector.
Representing the Maldives at the forum, VMC’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Ibrahim Shiuree, engaged with industry stakeholders and underlined the Maldives’ position as a premier destination for luxury and sustainable tourism. His participation highlighted the Maldives’ continued commitment to the Russian and CIS markets, which remain important source markets for the destination.
Manta Forum 2025 featured more than 110 participants and exhibitors from Russia and abroad, providing a platform for networking and knowledge exchange.
Through its presence, Visit Maldives Corporation reaffirmed its strategy to maintain destination visibility, build strong B2B relationships, and promote the Maldives’ diverse tourism offerings to Russian and CIS travel trade partners.
