MATI opens registration for Strategy Masterclass with Mark Pollard

The Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI) has announced the opening of registration for the 2nd Edition of MATI Insight, a Strategy (Marketing) Masterclass titled “Sweathead Masterclass: Strategy is Your Words,” led by Mark Pollard. The event will take place on Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Crossroads Maldives Event Hall.

Key topics covered in the masterclass will include:

  1. The Four Points Framework
  2. Ideas – exploring linear and lateral thinking
  3. Insights – how to generate and write them
  4. Strategy – how to craft it effectively
  5. The importance of using words effectively in branding
  6. Approaching problems to develop a creative brief

Participants will engage in over 10 exercises and create their own Four Points for a brand.

Mark Pollard, from Mighty Jungle, assists leaders, marketers, and agencies in adopting innovative thinking through a blend of training, strategy, and writing. He has worked with brands such as The Economist, Electronic Arts, Facebook, Twitter, Wall Street Journal, Mozilla, Havas, and TBWA/Media Arts Lab. Previously, Pollard led strategy teams at McCann, Leo Burnett, and Big Spaceship, judged the Jay Chiat Awards and the Webbys, and served on the Australian Account Planning Group (APG) committee.
