Hotelier Maldives names Kurumba Maldives as GM Forum 2025 venue
Hotelier Maldives, the leading hospitality media brand in the Maldives, has announced Kurumba Maldives as the host venue for the upcoming General Managers (GM) Forum 2025. The forum, recognised as the leading gathering of hospitality professionals in the country, will take place on 13 October 2025 under the theme, “Digitalisation and Expanding Experiences.”
Located just a short transfer from Malé and Velana International Airport (VIA), Kurumba Maldives is renowned as the country’s first resort, with a long-standing history of hosting high-profile events and industry forums. Its central location and facilities make it a fitting choice to welcome general managers, senior executives, government officials, and international partners for this year’s edition of the forum.
The GM Forum 2025 will explore the role of digitalisation in shaping the next stage of growth for the Maldivian hospitality industry, with sessions focusing on how technology can enhance guest experiences while preserving the core of authentic Maldivian service. The programme will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and interactive sessions designed to provide hoteliers with actionable strategies to navigate an evolving global tourism landscape.
Commenting on the announcement, Ali Naafiz, Editor of Hotelier Maldives, said: “We are pleased to confirm Kurumba Maldives as the host venue for the GM Forum 2025. The resort’s legacy as a pioneer in Maldivian hospitality makes it an ideal setting for this important industry dialogue.”
Since its inception in 2016, the annual GM Forum has become the most influential platform for hospitality leaders in the Maldives, providing an opportunity to discuss challenges, share knowledge, and build partnerships that shape the future of the sector.
Hotelier Maldives will soon release further details of the agenda, speakers, and partners for the forum. General managers, executives, and industry professionals will be invited to attend and contribute to the discussions shaping the future of Maldivian hospitality.
