COMO Maalifushi promotes Mohamed Fareen as Resident Manager

COMO Maalifushi has announced the promotion of Mohamed Fareen to the role of Resident Manager, marking an important milestone in a professional journey that reflects dedication, loyalty and a deep-rooted commitment to the COMO ethos.

Many within the COMO family know Fareen not only as a steady and respected leader, but as someone who has grown with the brand over the years. His journey began at COMO Cocoa Island, before progressing into key leadership roles at COMO Maalifushi, including Front Office Manager, Fleet Manager, and most recently Director of Rooms.

Throughout his career, Fareen has consistently demonstrated genuine care for both guests and colleagues. His calm leadership style, strong sense of responsibility and ability to bring teams together have made him an integral part of the resort’s success.

Fareen’s growth has also been supported by his commitment to learning, having recently completed his Master’s in Hotel Management — a reflection of his drive to continuously improve both himself and the resort.

As Resident Manager he will support the overall day-to-day operations of COMO Maalifushi, working closely with all operational departments to ensure we continue delivering the seamless, intuitive experiences our guests have come to know us for.
