Coco de Mer Maldives, Tapestry Collection by Hilton has appointment of Ahmed Anees as General Manager of the 75-key resort expected to open in Q2 2027.
Anees brings a distinguished 21-year career built entirely within the Hilton portfolio in the Maldives, marked by extensive operational expertise and a proven track record of service excellence.
Anees has held progressive leadership roles across several of Hilton’s premier Maldivian properties, including Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, and Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa, where he most recently served as Director of Operations and Acting Hotel Manager. His career spans multi-departmental management, pre-opening setups, and resort renovations. Recognised for his operational leadership, Anees was named Leader of the Year at Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi in 2021 and has just completed his term as President of the Maldives Housekeepers Association.
