Centara Hotels and Resorts Prepares for Festive Season in Maldives
Centara Hotels and Resorts prepares a festive holiday at its properties in the Maldives, Centara Grand Island Resort and Spa and Centara Ras Fushi Resort and Spa. An array of activities ranging from glittering dinners, sparkling parties and more are on the agenda at the island resorts.
Centara Grand Island Resort has prepared a season of “Ritz and Glitz” with a variety of experiences. Located in South Ari Atoll, Centara Grand Island Resort and Spa Maldives is ideal for family vacations. The resort features spacious accommodation including Family Overwater Villas with bunk beds and PlayStations, tennis, six restaurants, bars and lounges, Spa Cenvaree and more.
Kicking off the celebrations on 22nd December, Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony will be marked with carol singing and canapes. The celebrations will run through till 6th January 2023. Highlights of the holiday include Santa’s arrival, gala dinners, a traditional Christmas themed lunch, funk-house DJ parties and beach parties, and more. A Great Gatsby-themed “Ritzy-Glitzy Affair Gala Dinner” on the last day of the year includes performances from renowned Thai musicians. To start the new year 2023, families can come together with a “Rise and Shine” New Year’s Day breakfast and “Gastronomical Holiday Lunch” on 1st January. On 6th January, an Orthodox Christmas buffet will be prepared. Throughout the season, Camp Safari will host an array of fun-filled activities to keep the children engaged, from Christmas craft sessions to meeting with Santa, kids’ discos and special dinners.
Centara Ras Fushi Resort is an exclusively adults-only island located in North Male’ Atoll. The resort features beachfront and overwater villas, seven restaurants and bars, a Spa Cenvaree and more. Festivities will run through for ten days at the resort with activities from “Tai Chi”, “Yogalates” and “Tranquility and Meditation” sessions during the day, to “Cuban Duo Beats” every night.
The celebrations start on 22nd December with the “Christmas Tree Lighting” ceremony and “Santa’s Arrival” on 24th December. A Christmas Eve Gala Dinner will include a range of traditional and “East meets West” flavours. During the stay, guests can indulge in culinary experiences including “Masterchef Culinary Secrets” on 26th December and a “Seafood Barbecue” on 27th December. To celebrate the new year 2023, a “New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner” includes international cuisine, cultural dances, traditional bodu beru drums and Cuban beats.
