Gili Lankanfushi promotes Ahmed Visam, Brille Ann Reyes within Human Resources
Gili Lankanfushi Maldives has announced two internal appointments within its Human Resources team, naming Ahmed Visam as Assistant Human Resources Manager and promoting Brille Ann Reyes to Human Resources Supervisor.
Visam joined Gili Lankanfushi in August 2022 as Assistant Front Office Manager. During his time in the Front Office team, the resort said he developed strong relationships across departments while providing support to both colleagues and guests. His move into Human Resources reflects his interest in people development and his experience working across different areas of the resort.
The appointment also represents a transition into a different operational discipline for Visam, moving from Front Office into a role focused on team development, employee support and Human Resources management.
Brille Ann Reyes, meanwhile, has been promoted to Human Resources Supervisor.
Reyes joined Gili Lankanfushi in August 2024 as Human Resources Coordinator. Since then, she has supported the resort’s daily HR operations and contributed to creating a welcoming working environment for team members across departments. The resort highlighted her professionalism, work ethic and willingness to take initiative in announcing the promotion.
The two appointments form part of Gili Lankanfushi’s wider approach to internal career development. The resort said its recent promotions recognise team members who have demonstrated dedication, continuous learning and performance, while supporting a culture in which employees are given opportunities to develop their careers.
The Human Resources appointments were announced alongside the promotion of Ahmed Majid to Director of Engineering, bringing the resort’s latest round of internal promotions to three.
