Meyyafushi Maldives appoints Ali Nafih as Human Resources Manager

The BeKind has appointed Ali Nafih, known as Nappe, as Human Resources Manager at Meyyafushi Maldives.

Nafih brings more than eight years of experience in human resources within the Maldivian hospitality sector. In his new role, he will oversee the resort’s human resources operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management and team development.

“We’re delighted to welcome Ali Nafih (Nappe) as Human Resources Manager at Meyyafushi Maldives,” The BeKind said in announcing the appointment.

“With more than eight years of experience in the Maldivian hospitality industry, Nappe brings extensive expertise across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management and HR operations.”

Before joining Meyyafushi Maldives, Nafih served as Human Resources Manager at Ayada Maldives from August 2024 to November 2025.

He previously worked at Sirru Fen Fushi Private Lagoon Resort as Assistant Talent and Culture Manager. He held the position from September 2023 until August 2024.

Nafih also spent more than two years with Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, progressing through three positions within the Talent and Culture department. He joined the resort as Talent and Culture Supervisor in March 2021, advanced to Talent and Culture Executive in March 2022 and became Assistant Talent and Culture Manager in April 2023.

Earlier in his career, he served as Human Resources Executive with COMO Hotels and Resorts from September 2019 to March 2021.

Nafih entered resort human resources in 2018 as an HR Assistant at Furaveri Island Resort & Spa. He later joined The Small Maldives Island Co., which operated Amilla Fushi and Finolhu, as Cluster Talent Resources Assistant.

His professional experience covers employee relations, team leadership, administration, time management and information technology. Nafih holds Certified Human Resources Professional and Certified Human Resources Manager credentials and has also completed training in human resources management and compliance. He studied at Villa College.

The BeKind said Nafih’s approach to employee development and workplace culture would support its people strategy at Meyyafushi.

“His people-first mindset, positive energy and commitment to building supportive workplace cultures make him a wonderful addition to the BeKind family,” the company said.

“We’re excited to have Nappe on board and look forward to the positive impact he will have as we continue fostering a culture where our people thrive and Moments of Kindness are created every day.”

Meyyafushi Maldives is a five-star Premium All-Inclusive resort located on a natural island in Lhaviyani Atoll. The resort is accessible by a 35-minute seaplane journey from Velana International Airport and offers 95 villas and suites with private pools.

Its facilities include Bubble Underwater Restaurant, an overwater padel tennis court, mini-bowling lanes, water suites with slides and a rooftop bar featuring a glass-bottom infinity pool and sunken seating. Its food and beverage portfolio also includes Mediterranean and Asian restaurants, teppanyaki, all-day dining, a 24-hour café and in-villa dining.

Meyyafushi is the second resort in The BeKind’s portfolio. The hospitality group began with Fushifaru Maldives in 2017 and adopted The BeKind identity in 2025 as it expanded from a single resort into a group covering hotels, wellness and retail concepts.
