One&Only Reethi Rah appoints Jan Tibaldi as General Manager
One&Only Reethi Rah welcomes back Jan Tibaldi as its General Manager after the successful opening of One&Only One Za’abeel Resort and Private Homes in Dubai, UAE.
Jan has been appointed to a familiar role where he will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation and strategic development of the acclaimed all-villa resort, as well as leading the resort’s team in creating exceptional experiences and unforgettable moments for the One&Only Reethi Rah guests.
Jan brings over 35 impressive years of hospitality leadership experience in the luxury hospitality industry to One&Only Reethi Rah, having previously held senior positions at some of the most prestigious luxury hotels in the world, including prior roles with One&Only in Mauritius and Maldives. Prior to his return to the island nation, Jan successfully oversaw the opening of One Za’abeel as its Cluster General Manager. His previous properties included One&Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives, The PuLi Hotel and Spa in China, Oberoi Udaivilas in India, Viceroy Anguilla in the British West Indies and Four Seasons in the USA. Jan holds a degree in Hospitality Management from Cornell University in the USA.

Surrounded by the Indian Ocean, One&Only Reethi Rah is an ultra-luxury, all-villa resort offering one-off experiences. Located in North Malé Atoll, with a total of 118 villas including beach villas, residences and water villas that are situated discreetly along the shoreline. Dining options are served at six diverse restaurants and bars, or privately in the villa. The spa offers a holistic programme of treatments. Club One is the hub for all things active at the resort, including the rock-climbing wall, two floodlit tennis courts, an Artist Studio and a water sports centre. Younger guests can enjoy that inspire creativity and imagination.
