Ooredoo launches new self-help application – My Ooredoo

Oreedoo2Ooredoo Maldives has launched their new application, ‘My Ooredoo’ – designed to give customers direct access to manage their Ooredoo accounts from their smart phones – whenever, wherever.

Mr. Vikram Sinha, Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Maldives, in the press release statement said: “The launch of the all-new ‘My Ooredoo’ app is fantastic news for our customers; our services are now directly available on smartphones every day, anytime and anywhere. The App has been developed with our customers in mind to provide an enriching experience that makes a real difference.”

He continued, “Today, customers want to pay bills instantly, want to know real-time data usage, want to activate services when they need to, and even Raastas when they want. Now, instead of waiting in queue, our customers can easily do everything instantly with our ‘My Ooredoo’ app.”

‘My Ooredoo’ application will allow customers to:

  • View and pay Ooredoo bills
  • Recharge and Raastas to any prepaid connection
  • Activate Ooredoo date packages and check usage
  • Activate a range of services, like free numbers, and Reethi Tunes
  • Have access to and enjoy ongoing promotions and offers

As part of the special offer on launching the app, customers will be able to enjoy several rewards such as  10% bonus extra credit upon recharging above MVR 50, 10% extra talk time upon paying post-paid bills, and 10% bonus free data upon activating data packages, when using the application.

Oooredoo Maldives, previously known as Wataniya Telecom Maldives, has been active and providing their services in the Maldives since 2005. The company which is part of the Ooredoo Group is also the first telecom company to launch the first 4G network in the Maldives.
