[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Patrick de Staercke has been named the new General Manager of Kuredu Island Resort & Spa. Prior to his new appointment, Patrick served as the pre-opening General Manager at Hurawalhi Island Resort – also operated by Crown and Champa Resorts.

Patrick’s professional background and excellent people skills have been a winning mix for bringing all resorts under his management to new heights; the popularity of one of the Maldives’ most romantic resorts, Komandoo, and the outstanding guest feedback that Hurawalhi is receiving, are examples of Patrick’s determination to exceed bottom line expectations and his drive to attain the best possible performance, Kuredu said in a statement.

Patrick had earlier served as the General Manager of Komandoo Island Resort and Spa, and the pre-opening Resident Manager at Vilamendhoo Island Resort and Spa. His management skills, passion, and customer orientation are on par with his bright personality, wit and accommodating nature, which inevitably results in good spirits running high throughout the team, the resort said.

Kuredu has high hopes with Patrick, who the resort said has a nourishing positivity and a strong focus on guest satisfaction, and an eye for constant improvement of facilities and services. Earlier, Patrick also served as the Director of Food and Beverages at leading properties including Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel in Singapore, Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts and Meeru Island Resort and Spa.

Kuredu Island Resort & Spa, nestled in Lhaviyani Atoll, is 1800 meters long by 325 meters wide, making it the second largest resort in the Maldives. It offers a total of 388 rooms including on-land and over-water villas.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
