Qatar Airways to operate three daily Maldives flights from October
Qatar Airways will increase its flights to the Maldives to three daily services from late October as part of an expansion of its operations for the winter season.
According to the airline’s winter schedule released on Thursday, Qatar Airways will operate 21 flights a week between Doha and Malé from 25 October.
The airline currently operates 12 flights a week to the Maldives.
The increase will bring the Doha–Malé route to three flights a day.
Qatar Airways is expanding its network for the winter season, with services planned to 170 destinations worldwide, including the Maldives.
Doha is a major transit hub for travellers flying to the Maldives from European and other Western markets.
The additional services are expected to increase air connectivity to the Maldives ahead of the tourism high season.
