Soneva Fushi Brings Jaipur Literature Festival to the Maldives
Soneva has partnered with Teamwork Arts, producer of the iconic Jaipur Literature Festival, to bring JLF to Soneva Fushi. Starting from March 13 to 22, the event is spread over ten days and two weekends and will be held at stunning locations across the island.
JLF Soneva Fushi celebrates the theme of ‘Slow Life’, including topics as varied as travel, fiction, food, art, wellness, climate change and the environment. The Festival will welcome a line-up of world-renowned authors, fascinating workshops, music, art and culture.
A truly bespoke experience, JLF Soneva Fushi will feature morning yoga sessions, stimulating workshops, delectable international cuisine and jaw-dropping sunsets against a languorous blue sea. JLF Soneva Fushi is an opportunity to reconnect with the joys of live performances of art, music and literature on the idyllic island of Kunfunadhoo in the beautiful Baa Atoll.

Kuda Villingili Resort Maldives Launches Green Globe Sustainability Initiative
Kuda Villingili Resort Maldives has launched their Green Globe Sustainability Initiative, held to affirm the resort’s long-term commitment to sustainable tourism.
The event took place on 3rd February 2022 and was attended by chief guest Mr. Xu Jing, current Vice Chairman of Global Tourism Economy Research Centre and Former Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific of UNWTO. Guests of honour included Mr. Faisal Naseem, Vice President of the Maldives, Dr. Abdulla Mausoom, Minister of Tourism, and Dr. P. Mohamed Ali, Chairman of Kuda Villingili Resort Maldives.
The event took place at The Hawkers, where the Honourable guests planted native trees of the Maldives, connecting with the nature and increasing our ecological footprint.
