Secret Paradise Rejoices a Fully Vaccinated Team
As part of the “I’m Vaccinated” campaign by Visit Maldives and Ministry of Tourism, local tour company Secret Paradise announced that 100% of their team have received their first and second vaccination dose.
Ahmed Mashir Ali, tour guide at Secret Paradise said ”Having received both doses of the vaccine, I feel reassured when welcoming guests and believe I am contributing to the Maldives being a safe destination for tourists and also for the local communities I work within. I understand that having had the vaccine doesn’t mean I am completely immune but getting vaccinated not only protects yourself, but also protects the people around you.”
The safety and comfort of guests and the team have always been a priority for Secret Paradise. Their guides are certified Emergency First Responders and Level 3 International Life Guards. They have also completed a COVID-19 online awareness program.
“Like many others within the tourism industry, we are grateful to have been provided the opportunity so early on with some members of the team having received their first dose back in February,” said co-founder, Ruth Franklin. “We would also like to acknowledge the services of the many doctors, nurses, health professionals and individuals who have volunteered their services to support the Maldives during this challenging period.”
The Secret Paradise #letusguideyou Safely policy highlights the enhanced procedures and processes guests can expect from beginning to end. Although the policy will evolve with time and as local public health recommendations are updated, the company’s commitment to keeping guests and local communities safe as they explore the Maldives remains unchanged.
