Six Senses Summer Retail Collection to premiere in August

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas is geared up for the summer season with the launch of an exclusive line of designer holiday wear and gift items at the group’s eclectic boutiques. The Six Senses Summer collection, brought together by the newly-appointed Director of Retail, will premiere in Thailand in August, followed by other Six Senses resorts later this year.

“For months we have been developing a selection of women’s ready-to-wear, resort wear, swimsuits, jewelry and accessories and are very proud to see the Summer 2016 Six Senses Retail Collection come to life,” said Marie-Eve Macgoey, Director of Retail.

“Our commitment to sustainability is evident throughout the collection and is part of the brand’s ethos to being a responsible company that works with like-minded, local brands that follow sustainable procurement and manufacturing practices. We have also identified several companies that support minority-owned business and benefit women, children and underprivileged communities.”

According to Six Senses, the range features garments that move effortlessly from leisure activities, sport and lounging to elegant evenings. “Natural fabrics are transformed into wisps of whimsy to layer over swimwear; sandals that are perfect for a beach or patio party and cheeky carryall bags of handcrafted macramé.”

The collection also features casual resort wear such as tops, shorts, T-shirts, polos and branded caps, as well as bathing suits for men and women.

“Colourful wraps and caftans in silk and cotton, bags and clutches add a touch of panache, while the Six Senses jewelry line presents an array of fabulous, fun and funky necklaces, bracelets and charms,” Six Senses said in a press statement.

“Apparel reflects a casually sophisticated take on resort style wedded to the unique synergy that Six Senses has developed with local artisans and designers, with many of the selected items benefiting indigenous populations in Asia and Africa while staying true to the Six Senses brand values.”

According to the company, a men’s line and a yoga wear and gear line is under development and will be launched later this year.
