The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort Invites Families to #PlayWell and Rejuvenate
Westin Hotels & Resorts’ “Westin Family” programme, promoting well-being, sparking curiosity, and creating fun active moments for families as a whole, is available at its property in the Maldives, The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort.
The five-star wellness resort is located in Baa Atoll, the first UNESCO Biosphere Reserve site in the archipelago. The resort features 70 villas, four restaurants and bars, the Heavenly Spa by Westin, the 24-hour WestinWORKOUT fitness center and the Westin Family.
To accommodate family stays, a two-bedroom villa with pool is on offer with its beachfront location and ocean views. At 500 square meters, the Heavenly Beach Residence with pool is the largest on offer at The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort.
Guests can choose to dine at the Japanese restaurant, The Pearl, enjoy contemporary international cuisine at Island Kitchen, or taste authentic Asian street fusion restaurant, Hawker. On Tuesdays, the resort offers #EatWell complimentary cooking classes, that guests can enjoy as a family activity.
The resort has also launched a Popsicle Shop with a wide range of homemade popsicles based on seasonal fruits and healthy ingredients, with many options of toppings to add and personalize a treat for children and adults alike.
The Westin Family Kids Club® features fun, games, and educational activities for children between 4 and 12 years. The grouper-fish-inspired design facility includes an indoor and outdoor playground, where children can practice creative crafts, engage in resort-wide treasure hunts, go on nature walks, and compete in foosball and tennis. Children also have the opportunity to learn about Maldivian culture, tradition and cuisine, and local marine life.
The special Westin Family Getaway Package includes breakfast buffet for up to 2 adults and up to 2 children, a children’s welcome amenity including a Westin Family Travel Journal designed to engage children from 3-12 years old, complimentary access to Westin Family Kids Club, local activity guide, use of snorkelling equipment and ocean kayaks (up to two hours) and late check-out subject to availability.
