Life_Is_a_Healthy_Journey_with_Anantara_Balance_Wellness_Retreats_Beach_Yoga_in_the_MaldivesThe luxury hospitality brand, Anantara, has launched a range of wellness retreats, an extension of its unique Balance Wellness concept. The transformational retreats are powered by Lifestyle Health Retreats (LHR). They range from three to seven night programmes, and promise to deliver long-term health benefits and a positive lifestyle impact.

Designed around LHR’s philosophy that wellness retreats should be more than a ‘healthy holiday’, and should affect long-term lifestyle change, the exclusive range of programmes offer professional guidance by experienced fitness, nutrition, and wellness experts as well as ‘mindset re-programming’ along with a realistic, motivational action plan and post-retreat coaching support.

Fitness & Weight Loss Retreats enable guests to benefit from personalised coaching and workouts, learn about fitness and weight loss myths and scientifically proven methods. Participants develop a thorough understanding of food and nutrition, and receive the tools to establish healthy habits. Each guest receives detailed, personal information about their body and how to most efficiently maximise health, while burning fat and losing weight. Ultimately, guests return home with a smart, achievable and healthy plan that fits into their daily life and helps to realise their goals.

Fitness & Weight Loss Retreats are available at Anantara Dhigu Maldives and Anantara Veli Maldives from 20th to 27th May, and  at Anantara Si Kao Resort Thailand (from 20th to 27th May and from 17th to 24th June 2016), as well as at the Anantara Layan Phuket Resort (from 22nd to 29th April and 3rd to 10th June).

The Yoga Retreat offers a dynamic two-hour yoga flow practice to invigorate and cleanse the body, followed by afternoon seminars to provide guidance on yoga poses and nutritional advice to promote healthy eating habits. In the evenings, yin yoga stretching or meditation sessions offer a wealth of holistic benefits.

Yoga Retreats are available at Anantara Dhigu Maldives and Anantara Veli Maldives from 15th to 22nd April, and at Anantara Layan Phuket Resort from 1st to 8th July.

Each retreat includes return airport transfers, luxury Anantara accommodation and healthy meals on a full board basis, a complimentary Anantara Spa treatment, one-to-one coaching, at least four hours of daily workouts, seminars and classes, as well as 30 days of follow-up coaching.

Anantara is a luxury hospitality brand for modern travellers, connecting them to genuine places, people and stories through personal experiences, and providing heartfelt hospitality in the world’s most exciting destinations.
