Singapore Airlines offers special fares for visiting ITB Asia

The 3 day B2B tradeshow and convention is designed to be the primary event for the Asia Pacific travel industry and the event’s airline partner, Singapore Airlines, is offering special fares for those flying to the exhibition from Maldives. The special fair is from USD 415 for tickets issued before 15 October 2016.
ITB Asia is organized by Messe Berlin, the company that has been organizing ITB Asia’s parent event ITB Berlin for the last 45 years.
Now in its 9 year, ITB Asia is a premier meeting place for the travel trade industry and serves as a forum for conducting business and establishing high quality customer contacts. The event brings together international exhibitors of all sectors within the travel-value chain commerce, Asia Pacific’s leading travel companies and emerging small and medium-sized enterprises along with top international buyers from the MICE, leisure and corporate travel markets.
The event presents over 5,000 minutes of conferences, on-floor seminars and ITB Asia clinics that feature latest industry trends. According to the event’s website, over 800 buyers with key decision-making power are expected at the event and visitors will have the opportunity to make connections with over 10,300 delegates from over 108 countries. Over 760 exhibitors are set to showcase their products and services.
ITB Asia’s opening keynote is to be delivered by Priceline Group’s Senior Vice President, Adrian Currie and Google’s Asia Pacific Head of Hotel and Airline Suppliers, Jenn Villalobos. Renowned BBC World News presenter Sharanjit Leyl is set to moderate the panel.
The second keynote session is on OTA sales in the Asia-Pacific region, and the panel is to present in-depth insights from industry heavyweights such as Expedia group, Agoda, Zuji and Ctrip. The panel is to be moderated by Alex Thanopoulos, Vice President MasterCard Enterprise Partnerships Asia Pacific.
The last keynote session will put the spotlight on China and perspectives into the current Chinese market conditions and how to leverage opportunities in this growing market are to be discussed by CEOs and founders from Shanghai Jin Jiang International E-Commerce Co, Yiqifei Travel, Dida Travel Technology and Tuniu Corporation.
ITB Asia will also be holding its inaugural MICE Day at this year’s event on the 20th of October. The sessions held on the second day of the exhibition will cover a full spectrum of key issues faced by the MICE sector today.
ITB Asia is also celebrating new partnerships with prominent industry heavy weights such as the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE), Singapore Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (SACEOS), as well as a renewed agreement with the Incentive Conference & Event Society Asia Pacific (ICESAP).
