The Atmosphere Kanifushi and Constance Moofushi resorts in the Maldives have been selected among the top five all-inclusive resorts in the Indian Ocean by luxury travel operator Destinology.
The UK-based award-winning travel operator handpicked the top five all-inclusive resorts in its blog on February 16 for customers considering an all-inclusive Indian Ocean holiday.
“This is truly an amazing acknowledgement and a fantastic achievement indeed for a young product that is just one year old!” said Dinesh Bhaskar, director of sales and marketing at Atmosphere Kanifushi.
Destinology described accommodation at Atmosphere Kanifushi as “very generous in terms of both the indoor and outdoor space, providing assured privacy, comfort and a space where you can sit back, relax and unwind.”
The luxury travel blog meanwhile noted that Constance Moofushi is “commended as one of the best diving locations ever” and praised the resort for its blend of simplicity and luxury.
“White sandy beaches, clear turquoise waters, superior beach villas all on its own secluded island, bliss!” reads the blog. “With their all-inclusive cristal package, which includes everything from premium drinks to exquisite cuisine you can indulge yourself in blissful spa treatments, try a bit of snorkelling or experience a sunset cruise where you may happen to have some friendly visitors, the gorgeous dolphins.”
The top five all-inclusive resorts were not listed in any particular order. The other resorts included the Heritage Awali Golf & Spa and Zilwa Attitude in Mauritius, and the Desroches Island in the Seychelles.
Atmosphere Kanifushi
The five-star Atmosphere Kanifushi opened for business in December 2013 and is located in Lhaviyani Atoll, a 30-minute seaplane transfer from the Male’ international airport.
The Kanifushi Island is 2km in length and 90 meters in width, making it one of the longest resorts in the Maldives. The island is surrounded by long uninterrupted stretches of pristine beach and a large natural coral reef.
The resort offers a unique exclusive “premium all-inclusive” holiday plan and features some of the largest beach villas (100 square meters) and sunset family villas (200 square meters) in the Maldives.
Each villa is separated by a few meters of tropical vegetation to assure privacy for guests. Kanifushi also boasts the first pure vegetarian a la carte restaurant as well as the first full-sized 50-meter swimming pool in the Maldives.
