Fari Islands to Celebrate 2nd Anniversary

The Fari Islands, The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, and Patina Maldives, Fari Islands will celebrate their second anniversary on May 25, 2023. In two years, the properties have established themselves as world-class resorts.

On Wednesday, May 25, at the Fari Marina, the resorts will host Fari Islands’ two-year anniversary celebration. The event will showcase the resort’s remarkable achievements, unwavering commitment to exceptional service, and steadfast dedication to guest experience. To commemorate the second anniversary, the Fari Islands will plant a massive coral regeneration project, in the shape of the number two, to serve as a symbol of the properties’ commitment to preserving the beautiful marine ecosystem.

The anniversary will highlight the properties’ sustainability initiatives. Guests attending the celebration can look forward to making their own coffee scrub and trying a zero-waste banana cocktail. The Jean-Michel Cousteau Ambassadors of the Environment program will showcase their green bike, drone workshop, and conservation initiatives for combating ghost nets. Local students have been invited to learn about the resort’s sustainability initiatives to empower the younger generation to preserve the natural environment. The event will be concluded with a cocktail hour with a DJ and Maldivian Boduberu music.
