Gili Lankanfushi Maldives Unveils ‘Bucket List on the Beach’ Dining Experience
Gili Lankanfushi, an eco-resort in the Maldives has announced a ‘Bucket List on the Beach’ offering, with a variety of dining experiences for guests.
The bucket list includes Sensory Supper in the Sand, Sommerlier’s Tasting Table, Seafood Under the Stars, Battle of the Bartenders, and Castaway Canapés & Cocktails Sunset Experience.
Starting at USD 250 per person, Gili Lankanfushi’s Sensory Supper invites guests to a secret island location, where they will taste their private chef’s surprise menu while blindfolded, and guess the dish, in a feet-in-the-sand experience.
The Sommelier’s Tasting Table is a weekly event that will take place in the resort’s wine cellar, featuring a different theme each time. For USD 85 per person, a host will guide guests through different tasting notes, and invite them to guess the price and partake in some blind tasting.
Starting at USD 200, seafood Under the Stars is a romantic and private dining offering where guests can enjoy a three-course meal of seafood at the overwater bar with a bottle of chilled Roederer Champagne. The team at Gili Lankanfushi will decorate a table on the beach by candlelight for guests who prefer to enjoy the dinner under the stars.
Battle of the Bartenders is a destination drinking experience where guests can sit back and watch the resort’s leading mixologists battle it out, for USD 85. Guests are presented with a personalized judging card allowing them to critique the two mixologists, or can even opt to go head to head with one of the top bartenders themselves.
Specialised for honeymooners and proposers, or couples and families celebrating special occasions, Castaway Canapés and Cocktails Sunset Experience invites guests to savour this one-of-a-kind private experience set on Gili Lankanfushi’s floating castaway platform as they watch the sunset. This experience starts priced at USD 75 per cocktail pitcher.
Gili Lankanfushi Maldives is located in North Male’ Atoll, just 20 minutes by speedboat from Malé Airport. Suited for couples, families, solo travellers and groups, the resort has a ‘no news, no shoes’ philosophy.
