W Goa to Takeover Bar and Kitchen of W Maldives
W Hotels’ 5-star resort, W Goa, is set to bring authentic Indian flavours and mixology to W Maldives in a first of its kind bar and kitchen takeover.
The three-day takeover will kick off with “Taste W Goa at W Maldives” on 24 August, with W Goa’s Director of Beverage Kshitij Goel and Sous Chef Jotiba Birje heading the bar and kitchen of W Maldives’ signature overwater restaurant, FISH.
During this event, guests can enjoy a five-course menu curated by Chef Jotiba, inspired from the heritage and new age culture of Goa, along with beverage pairing curated by Kshitij, with prices starting from USD 179 per person.
“W Goa Sunset Session at SIP” is scheduled for 25 August, where Kshitij will serve curated cocktails and mocktails at W Maldives’ sundowner bar, priced at USD 25 each.
The final event, titled “The Chef In You” will give guests an opportunity to join Chef Jotiba’s cooking class on 26 August at the Maldivian-style outdoor venue KADA. Following the class, participants can taste their own creations over lunch, for USD 160 per person.
Located on Fesdu Island in North Ari Atoll, W Maldives is one of the seven Marriot International Inc. properties currently operational in the island nation.
