There have been exciting new movements in the Maldives hotel industry. This June sees the following appointments.

Ozen Reserve Bolifushi has welcomed Ahmed Aneel Adam as the newly appointed director of Reserve. As director, Aneel will be responsible for managing overall operations relating to food and beverage and guest experience for the ultra-luxe Reserve category and will report directly to Louisa Lalli, general manager of Ozen Reserve Bolifushi.  Aneel began his hospitality career over 13 years ago as a trainee in a leading resort brand in the Maldives and steadily grew up the ladder in varied roles and departments. His hands on-knowledge and natural leadership skills enabled him to grace positions such as chief butler and manager, duty manager and butler supervisor. Prior to joining the Ozen Collection, he served as the front office manager at The Nautilus Maldives.  There are 16 iconic Reserve properties on the beach or lagoon across four categories sunset earth pool, private ocean with Slide, Royal Reserve and the Ozen reserve.

Ulviyya Gahramanli, Assistant Director of Sales, Noku Maldives

Meanwhile, Noku Maldives welcomes their new Assistant Director of Sales Ulviyya Gahramanli. With extensive experience in senior managerial positions in international hotel chains, Ulviyya has a proven track record of achieving targets in a competitive environment within a short period of time. Prior to joining Noku Maldives, Ulviyya worked as a sales manager with The Standard Huruvalhi, Maldives. Previously, she managed global corporate accounts for four five-stars luxury hotels with Marriott International and worked as cluster sales manager at Absheron Hotel Group in Azerbaijan. Ulviyya is a creative, agile, and results-driven professional with six years of experience in proactive sales and business development. With a master’s degree in business administration in Hospitality Management from the Swiss Montreux Business School in Switzerland, Ulviyya is fluent in Russian, Turkish and English.
