ITA Airways to Operate Flights to Maldives from December 16
TA Airways, the state-owned flag carrier airline of Italy, will operate flights to Maldives during the winter season from December 16, 2023 to March 25, 2024. Ticket reservations have opened.
There will be two flights a week between Rome Fiumicino and Velana International Airport. The flight will depart from Rome Fiumicino airport at 22:10 and arrive at Velana International Airport at 11:25+1, local time. The return flight from Malé is scheduled at 13:25 local time, with a landing in Rome Fiumicino at 19:45.
ITA Airways’ intercontinental network grows to 12 destinations with the introduction of the flight to Maldives
Currently, Italy is Maldives 4th largest source market, comprising 8.2% market share with 56,201 arrivals. In 2022, Italy was Maldives’ 4th largest source market.
