Catering to the tastes of today’s travellers, the resort will introduce two-bedroom Beach Houses, Deluxe Water Villas, Water Villas with Pool, Sunset Pool Villas and Sunset Water Villas with Pool.

The two-bedroom Beach Houses, with two individual living spaces, are ideal for families or friends travelling together. Deluxe Water Villas are located in the middle of the lagoon whilst Water Villas with Pool are either on the lagoon side or on the house reef side. Meanwhile the Sunset Pool Villas and Sunset Water Villas are located on the west side of the island, a few steps from the long stretch of the famous Kuramathi sand bank.

New restaurants and bars include Kobe, offering teppanyaki cuisine over the water, and Inguru, serving Asian fusion cuisine. The Reef, the island’s signature seafood restaurant, will open its doors with refurbishments, and Laguna Bar has been upgraded with the addition of its own infinity lap pool.

Kuramathi Island Resort, located in Alif Alif Atoll, was one of the first resorts to open in the Maldives. The resort is operated by Universal Resorts of Universal Enterprises.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
