Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa Introduces La Fête by Le Méridien

Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa - Festive

This winter, Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa invites travellers to rejoice in the festive season, seaside-style with La Fête by Le Méridien. Nestled in Lhaviyani Atoll on Thilamaafushi Island, the tropical luxury resort has prepared an exciting array of festivities inspired by idyllic European winters and the refined art of entertaining.

Transporting guests back to the halcyon days of glamorous travels, La Fête by Le Méridien takes place from 22 December 2021 until 07 January 2022. From bespoke menus, sommelier selections, sparkling soirées, sustainable dining to kids’ escapades and Explore Spa by Le Meridien journeys, Le Méridien has something to entice the whole family to get into the festive spirit. Not to forget daily sunset revelries including soaking in the technicolour sunset during Aperitivo at Bodu Finolhu, the resort’s private island.

New Year’s Eve will see the seashores of Thilamaafushi Island transformed into a Kaanivalu (carnival in Dhivehi); an enchanting evening inspired by European winter carnivals, presented through the Maldives lens. Kaanivalu is a time for all to celebrate over delicious meals, dancing, song and entertainment. Featuring farm-to-table dishes and freshest catch of the sea, the gala dinner on 31 December is primed to fuse local tastes with international flavours. The evening is complemented with live entertainment, DJ and fireworks, to ring in the New Year with vivid colors splashed across the night’s sky.

Rates start from USD 450 per night in a Beach Bungalow inclusive of breakfast for two persons.  For more information or reservations, visit
