Activities and events organised by the resorts for tourists increase as number of visitors increase as well. With Christmas and the New Year fast approaching, more resorts are announcing their special packages and promotions for the guests.

At Soneva Fushi, the festivities start on December 23rd. Keeping in mind that the festive season is a time for families to share beautiful moments together, Soneva Fushi encourages families and couples to enjoy the activities together, such as watching a Christmas-themed movie outdoors on the island, or going on a guided snorkeling trip, enjoying a picnic brunch or going dolphin watching together.

For guests looking to enjoy a quiet, relaxing time, the resort also offers meditation, yoga and wellness sessions at the Six Senses Spa. The resort also organises a special Christmas activitiy programme at the Den, for the children.

For couples, the resort offers whisky and chocolate tasting, cooking classes and a culinary challenge hosted by Chef Sobah (recently voted the best chef in the Maldives) and visiting Nepalese Master Chef Saroj Singhe. The special Christmas Eve gala dinner held on the beach will offer a lavish spread of festive delights from around the world.

Six Senses Laamu is ready to welcome guests with an out-of-the ordinary experience at the resort this festive season. Des Mitchell and Sara France will be hosting the New Year  Eve party, welcoming the guests to dance away the old year, and welcome the new year.

A very unique laughing meditation session at the Six Senses Laamu spa will be organised for guests interested in starting the first day of the new year in complete happiness and bliss. Astronomer Dr. Parag will be hosting stargazing sessions on the beach for guests during the festive season. Activities like snorkelling, diving, and water sports will also be available for guests.

Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa welcomes guests to mingle with the staff and management, alongside other guests at the Christmas cocktail party. At the price of USD 320 per person, guests can enjoy the cocktail party and the scrumptiously laid out Christmas dinner.

New Year’s Eve will kick off with a champagne reception at Hadahaa beach before guests are then escorted to Dhoni, an architectural masterpiece restaurant in the heart of the island. After the dinner, celebrations will continue into the night on Hadahaa beach with a wide selection of beverages available where guests can enjoy and dance to the tunes of the DJ.

The resort offers a rate of USD 570 per person including champagne reception, international buffet, house wine and beer.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
