Turkish Airlines Increases Flight Frequency to Maldives for Winter Season

The flagship carrier of Turkey is now operating eleven flights per week between iGA Istanbul Airport and Velana International Airport (VIA).

In addition to daily flights, Turkish Airlines will operate an extra flight on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Turkish airlines initially resumed operations to Maldives on 24th July 2020 with weekly flights and later increased to daily flights in January 2021. Latest updates by Ministry of Tourism on 2nd November reveals that Turkish Airlines is the seventh top scheduled airline operating to the Maldives this year, with a total of 56,712 passengers and 880 movements.
