Jawakara Islands Maldives appoints Maurice Van Den Bosch as General Manager
Maurice Van Den Bosch, currently the GM of Kuredu Island Resort and Spa has been appointed as the General Manager of Jawakara Islands Maldives, the latest addition to the Crown and Champa Resorts (CCR).
The new resort which is expected to officially open by October this year, will commence the hospitality journey with Maurice, who has over 24 years of luxury hospitality experience, with moving up the ladder excelling every level of the industry discovering different versions of his success all the way to the top. A great deal of his triumph was acquired in Australia, New Zealand and the Maldives.
Embarking on the Maldives tourism journey in 2017 as the Resort Manager at OZEN LIFE MAADHOO, Maurice rose through the ranks from General Manager at Atmosphere Kanifushi and later to a group level role of Vice President of Operations with Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts. Subsequently Maurice was involved as General Manager for the Pre-Opening of Le Meridien Maldives and then driving services and guest experience at Coco Bodu Hithi.
Prior to this new appointment, Maurice being the General Manager of Kuredu Island Resort & Spa has contributed much to the success of the resort, with his strong work ethics and management skills to receive numerous Traveler’s Choice Awards as well.

Jawakara Islands Maldives, located in Lhaviyani atoll, depicts the traditional luxury Maldives packaged with a vibrant and modern twist. As the GM of this remarkable property, Maurice will be overseeing the requirements necessary for a successful pre-opening strategy and to ensure the excellent quality process to skilfully enterprise guest satisfaction.
