Villingili Resort & Spa Open for Acquisition

Villingili Resort & Spa, located on one of the largest islands in Addu Atoll and the Maldives, has been opened for acquisition. Pre-pandemic, the resort was operated as Shangri-La’s Villingili Resort & Spa until it was closed in April 2020.

Seventy minutes from Velana International Airport via seaplane and a five-minute speedboat ride from Gan International Airport, the fifty-hectare Villingili Resort & Spa features 132 villas; six restaurants and bars; an award-winning spa; two tennis courts; three natural lagoons and a nine-hole golf course.

Investors have the rare opportunity to acquire a luxury resort of international standards in the Maldives on a vacant possession basis. The island’s large size also means that there is potential for further development and new projects, without the need for land reclamation or substantial development works.

CBRE Limited has been appointed exclusive agent for the sale of the resort on behalf of Addu Investments Private Limited. The resort is offered for sale via an Expression of Interest “EOI” process, the EOI date to be advised by CBRE.
